War Horse: Only Remembered at Pentillie Castle

February 24, 2017

This summer, Michael Morpurgo will tell his powerful and deeply-moving story of War Horse: Only Remembered at Pentillie Castle.

The story is of young Albert and his beloved horse Joey, who witnesses the pity of war on both sides of the trenches as he moves from life on a farm in peaceful Devon to the devastation of the Western Front in the First World War.

Michael is joined by acclaimed and former War Horse National Theatre songman, Ben Murray, who accompanies him with the rousing yet haunting songs specially composed by John Tams for the National Theatre’s award-winning production of War Horse.

All profits from ticket sales will go to Farms for City Children.

This fantastic evening is on 2nd July, at Pentillie Castle, St Mellion, Saltash PL12 6QD, and tickets start from £25 for adults and £15 for children. Tickets are to be booked online; if you are unable to book online please call us on 01392 276381.
