Farms for City Children are pleased to announce that we have been chosen by the wonderful organisation Advent of Change as a beneficiary charity for the third year.

We are part of a unique product line-up for Christmas 2021, alongside 47 other charities. The feel-good festive range has been revealed in partnership with John Lewis by the non-profit social enterprise, Advent of Change, which pioneered the UK’s first advent calendar with a charity behind each door.

This year, the flagship calendars are returning alongside brand-new products aiming to help even more charities. We are proud to be receiving support through sales of the Charity Advent Calendar, Childrens Charity Advent Calendar, and Charity Christmas Crackers. Since 2019 sales of Advent of Change products have raised over £9,000 for Farms for City Children, helping us to support children living in some of the most densely populated areas of the country.

Charity Advent Calendar

We’re pleased to be included in this year’s best-selling Charity Advent Calendar, which has been beautifully redesigned for 2021 with stunning artwork and all-new charity donations. Each day represents a 50p donation to one of 24 charities, ready to brighten your Christmas countdown this year.

Children’s Charity Advent Calendar

Designed to get the whole family involved, the bright and colourful Children’s Charity Advent Calendar uses child-friendly language and hand-picked charities – including Farms for City Children – to help all ages understand the power of giving. This also includes a fun mini game to add festive joy to the Christmas countdown.

Charity Christmas Crackers

We are proud to have been included in a brand-new design for this year and Advent of Change’s most requested product – their set of six eco-friendly Charity Christmas crackers. Each cracker contains one of 24 charity donations on a beautifully designed card bauble, a joke written by a renowned celebrity and, of course, a tissue paper hat. We are so grateful to Lady Morpurgo, Quentin Blake, Kate Humble and Joanna Lumley for supplying our hilarious cracker jokes!
