Volunteering at Nethercott
August 13, 2014
We would like to say a big thank you to the brilliant volunteers who helped us at Nethercott House on Thursday.
The sun shone brightly for the day while Jess, Michelle, Ryan, Sally, Sophie and Christina cleared branches and cob, as well as planting cabbages and weeding in the garden with Farm Manager Lee and Deputy Farm Manager Stuart. When the children are on school holidays we are kept busy catching up with maintenance jobs around the farm, so these extra hands were very much appreciated. Everyone enjoyed a packed lunch on the lawn and a well deserved Devonshire cream tea before heading home after a great days work.
If you are interested in volunteering each Tuesday in the garden at Nethercott House, then please contact Catherine. You don’t have to be a professional gardener, just keen with a good pair of wellies!
