It is with great sadness we write to report the death of Ted Emerson. Ted was Trustee, Chairman and Vice President of Farms for City Children for over 30 years. Above all he was our friend.
We at Farms for City Children owe so much to Ted. In the early days he used his financial acumen to ensure the survival of the charity. Over the years his steadying hand guided and supported the fledgling project through some difficult moments. Whatever the situation he could be relied on to be courteous and kind with everyone.
He has left a wonderful legacy with the news that his grand daughter is preparing to run in the Virtual London Marathon later this year in his memory, following in her grand father’s footsteps. This gives all of us at Farms for City Children hope for the future. Thank you Ted.
