Taking place on Sunday 8th October, the Plymouth 10k takes you on a tour of Britian’s “ocean city”, taking in the wonderful sights that Plymouth has to offer.
Run the Plymouth 10k in aid of Farms for City Children and your sponsorship money will make a huge difference to our ongoing work bringing inner city children to the countryside for a life-enhancing adventure! You will also be helping to raise awareness of the charity and the work we undertake, which is absolutely invaluable.
After their schools visit to Nethercott House, our Devon farm, the teachers from St. Jude’s Catholic School in Fareham said:
“Nethercott gives children the opportunity to experience things that many would never normally have the chance to, things like the birth of a calf, splashing in a stream, but in an environment which is ‘real’ not a theme park. Not one child has commented on missing their TV/computer game – they have just enjoyed working hard, eating well and enjoying each other’s company.”
