Come and join Pride of Britain’s Simon Dell and Liz Miall on a Warhorse Walk with a difference!
On September 28th meet us at the Royal Oak, Meavy at 10.30am. A short drive to Sheepstor on Dartmoor, we will have an easy 2 mile walk around the breath-taking scenery seen in the film, War Horse.
Simon and Liz are fantastic tour guides and if you don’t know the story then don’t worry, you get a free copy of War Horse with your tickets! Simon and Liz were also part of the filming with Stephen Spielberg, so you can expect a fantastic retelling of the story and the filming of it.
The cost is a minimum £10 donation, including a complimentary copy of the War Horse book. After the walk you can join the team back at the Royal Oak at Meavy for a delicious lunch.
