When your birthday is coming up, Facebook will invite you to create a fundraiser. You can select Farms for City Children as your nominated charity and create a target. Facebook will also invite you to tell your friends and family why you have chosen to dedicate your birthday to Farms for City Children.
Setting up a fundraiser won’t cost you anything. You have the option to match the donation amount to give your fundraiser a boost if you wish.
Anniversaries, Birthdays and special occasions
If you are celebrating a special occasion and would like to raise funds for Farms for City Children at your event, we can provide you with collection boxes and leaflets for you to display on the day.
Alternatively, you could ask your guests to purchase a Farms for City Children Virtual Gift in lieu of flowers or presents.

We have teamed up with Give as you Live so that you can shop online with your favourite stores and raise funds for Farms for City Children at the same time. Using Give as you Live Online you can purchase anything from holidays, utilities, clothes, electricals and household essentials from thousands of retailers including Amazon, eBay and John Lewis. Each participating retailer will donate a percentage of your purchase to us without costing you a penny extra – with over 3,500 participating retailers to choose from shopping and fundraising has never been so easy!

- Fill in a few quick details and choose Farms for City Children as your ’cause’
