On Sunday 8 June, our Pembrokeshire farm Lower Treginnis will take part in Open Farm Sunday for the very first time.
From 10am to 4pm, visitors are invited to explore our farm on the edge of the stunning St Davids peninsula and discover what makes it such a special place for the children and young people who stay with us during the school year.
There’ll be the chance to meet our friendly animals, including pigs, goats, donkeys and poultry as well as the opportunity to try hands-on activities that give a flavour of farm life. You can try your hand at donkey grooming, see our goat Delilah being milked and catch a live sheep farming demonstration with our partner farmer Aled.
Guided tours will run throughout the day, alongside self-guided walks with coastal views and flower-picking in the garden. Our small farm shop will also be open, with snacks, drinks and fresh produce for sale.
Open Farm Sunday is a national celebration of food, farming and the countryside organised by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming). Although the official date is 8 June, events take place at farms across the UK throughout the month.
Entry is free, but booking is essential. Book your visit here
We’d love to welcome you to the farm!
