50 voices: Cool chickens and pig maths!

Did you know that community youth groups can also visit our farms? We spoke to young people and leaders from a Liverpool-based youth hub who were one of the groups who did just that last summer! Watch this video to learn why chickens are cool, what pig maths is and hear from their group leaders about the impact the week had on the young people involved.


“It’s just important that you try everything, even if it feels a bit out of your comfort zone. It widens your experience and might give you new things to try that you might like.”

During a five-day residential farm visit, young people have the opportunity to discover new strengths and ambitions. They grow their wellbeing, confidence, skills and knowledge. And most importantly, they’re ‘having a ball’ while they’re doing it!
