Following us on social media

As a values-driven, inclusive charity, we need to make sure the way we communicate with you aligns with the values we live by. This includes carefully considering the channels and platforms we use.

Social media provides us with a valuable way for us to engage with you; those who visit us, support us and are members of our farms’ communities. We know that few social platforms are without fault, but in most cases, we believe the benefits outweigh the downsides.

However, for X (formerly Twitter) that’s no longer the case. Based on recent engagement with our X posts, we think many of you may feel the same.

We need to be where our audiences are and on platforms where you feel comfortable to be. For that reason, we’ll no longer be posting on X. There are lots of other ways to stay up to date with us, so if you aren’t already, please head to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. You’ll find links to our farms’ Facebook and Instagram accounts from those pages too.

We also have some exciting changes planned and will be doing much more to share the Farms for City Children experience directly with you through our website and newsletters. Sign up to make sure you don’t miss out!
