Help us create life-changing experiences for children
Farms for City Children is a vibrant charity founded by Clare and Michael Morpurgo in 1976. We provide children and young people who have limited access to nature the opportunity to spend a week living and working together as farmers in the heart of the British countryside. They grow, harvest, cook and eat food from the land, take part in real farm tasks and experience the benefits of spending time in nature.
We believe that this experience should be a routine part of every childhood. Since opening our doors 50 years ago, we have welcomed over 108,000 children to one of our three heritage working farms located in Wales, Devon and Gloucestershire. We are now developing our plans for sustainable growth over the next 50-years.
