Farms for City Children
Our immersive farm residentials for children and young people offer a transformative experience, with rewards that last long after they have returned home.
During a five-day school or group visit to one of our stunning farms in Devon, Gloucestershire or Pembrokeshire, children and young people thrive. Our holistic programme enhances learning, nurtures wellbeing and builds transferable skills as our young farmers grow lasting connections with food, farming and each other.
We are a registered charity and believe every young person, regardless of background, deserves an opportunity to take home the wealth of benefits of being farmers for a week.
Farm visits
We offer immersive farm residentials for children and young people between the ages of 8-19. You can visit one of our three farms in Devon, Gloucestershire or Pembrokeshire as a school, college or community group.

We all had the most magical time and have learnt so much, made special memories and connected with one another in a way which just isn’t possible in the classroom.
We’ve seen anxious children holding firm against a pig which is trying to escape the weigher, children for whom school life is tricky wrangling sheep like they’d be doing it their whole life and the quietest, most timid children shouting orders to their team at the top of their voice.
